No, we are quite different. E-billing tools make savings for clients by striking off lines on an invoice and rejecting bills meaning firms are rarely paid on time. Alacrity provides a mechanism for pre-bills to be approved by the client meaning firms can be confident of issuing a bill that will be paid promptly.
No. At Alacrity we believe that price alone is a poor indicator of value, and that it is important to assess quality at the same time. Clients receive standardised proposals from their chosen firms and are able to make better decisions when comparing them side by side on Alacrity.
No. We are not involved in conflicts, engagement letters, document automation or storage. All of this takes place as normal.
We are a software as a service (SAAS) business for which clients pay an annual subscription in return for the use of our services.
You will have received a notification from our mutual client that they intend to adopt Alacrity and would like your firm to support the adoption. If you are not set up by the go-live date you could miss out on opportunities.
In a word. Very! We have designed Alacrity with simplicity in mind for both clients and law firms. You will find it considerably quicker to respond to RFPs with Alacrity and your clients won’t have to analyse complicated spreadsheets every month to check WIP.
No. Alacrity is a cloud based platform that you log into via your web browser so no integration is required.
Alacrity takes security very seriously, we understand that this is critical to our business and yours. Yes of course. We have a video walk through of the end to end journey for first time users and our customer success team is available for any specific questions via the chat icon in the bottom right of this screen.
You will receive an email notification from Alacrity notifying you of any action required. The notification will also be sent to your nominated alternates so nothing gets missed during busy times as well as appearing in your actions dashboard within Alacrity.
We have a structured permissions model that allows for BD and finance users whether that be for triage and routing the appropriate expert or creating the response for the firm.
